Founded the program NE STEM 4U program: the NE STEM 4U program is a pre-professional training program for undergraduates to prepare them for the 21st century workplace. Undergraduates serve as mentors to youth during the afterschool time to carry out active learning strategies with STEM concepts through a high-quality hands-on, minds-on approach. The program is celebrating it’s 10th birthday in 2022 and has been long lasting without a single cent of university-sponsored nor state-aided dollars. The program has reached more than 7,000 youth and more than 150 undergraduates, all with exclusively external dollars.
